Staff Accountant
Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Mira Loma, California. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the end of the month close, managing journal entries, and conducting bank reconciliations. This role is vital to maintaining the financial health and integrity of our operations. Responsibilities: • Assist with the month-end close to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Manage and record journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all entries. • Conduct bank reconciliations, verifying and correcting data as necessary. • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed. • Conduct light analysis of financial data to identify trends and discrepancies. • Manage fixed assets, including their registration, depreciation, and disposal. • Utilize various accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks efficiently. • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and stay updated on changes in financial policies and guidelines. • Collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline operations and improve financial processes. • Assist in other accounting or financial tasks as needed. Requirements • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience with Bank Reconciliations • Expertise in managing General Ledger • Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
