Description We are offering an opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. This role will be centered around maintaining meticulous records concerning the general ledger and accounting transactions. The Staff Accountant will be expected to perform a range of tasks from journal entries to financial audits, and from internal reporting to fixed asset management. Responsibilities: • Oversee the execution of journal entries and data entry • Perform account reconciliations regularly • Assist in the preparation of financial statements • Conduct financial and operational audits • Manage internal and external reporting processes • Carry out bank reconciliations • Oversee fixed asset management • Assist in responding to tax return data requests • Offer support to the Accounts Payable function when needed Requirements • Must possess strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations is essential. • Proficient in using NetSuite for managing accounting functions. • Experience in using Oracle for accounting operations is required. • Knowledge of QuickBooks for managing financial transactions is mandatory. • Familiarity with SAP for business operations and customer relations is necessary. • Must have a comprehensive understanding of various Accounting Functions. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must adhere to strict confidentiality in all matters. • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
