Staff Accountant

Position Summary: As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and reporting on our lease portfolio. You will be responsible for maintaining accounting policies, general ledger maintenance, and ensuring a robust control environment. Additionally, you will assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and support the consolidation process. Your expertise in leveraging technology to enhance financial processes and reporting will be highly valued. This position offers high visibility to the executive team and direct interaction with our investors. Key Responsibilities: + Review lease agreements, amendments, extensions, terminations, and other financial agreements in accordance with accounting standards. + Maintain the global lease accounting system. + Execute monthly/quarterly lease accounting close procedures, including preparing journal entries, supporting schedules, and general ledger reconciliations under both US GAAP and IFRS. + Prepare monthly consolidation with multiple domestic and international subsidiary general ledgers in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. + Generate various month-end close reports, financial statements, and analyses to validate the accuracy of financial information, including documenting results for submission to management and external auditors. + Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures and reviewing associated support. + Complete ad-hoc projects, including accounting research, analysis, and process improvements. + Identify root causes and areas for improvement in various accounting processes. + Communicate and coordinate with other departments and regional personnel, providing support for initiatives. + Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls. + Support internal and external audit activities. + Participate in initiatives to continuously improve business partnership effectiveness through process improvement and automation. What We Are Looking For: + Bachelor's degree in accounting required. + Public accounting experience preferred. + 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Excellent knowledge of US GAAP with the ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues. + Strong analytical, written, and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task. + Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of variables in standardized and non-standardized situations. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations. + Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel. + Experience with Tririga, JD Edwards One World, and MS Dynamics is a plus. + CPA certification is a plus.
