OverviewAssists the Senior Accountant and Manager in providing accurate, timely, and consistent financial information within Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and consistent with corporate policies and procedures as it pertains to the acquisition of long-term care (LTC) pharmacies.
Responsibilities• Assist with performing monthly, detailed financial reviews as it relates to LTC pharmacy acquisitions
• Coordinate balance sheet, bank reconciliations, and trend analysis for all assigned accounts and journal entries
• Responsible for compiling, recording, and reconciling quarterly inventory counts for LTC pharmacy acquisitions
• Generate necessary reports and participate in related monthly accounting activities to ensure timely ledger close
• Research information requests and respond to issues involving specific general ledger accounts
• Monitor compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and company procedures
• Acquire appropriate information for vendor set up in Oracle Fusion, as necessary
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

• Education/Learning Experience
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Desired: Advanced degree in Accounting
• Work Experience
• Required: at least 6-12 months working in an accounting department/function
• Desired: 1-2 years accounting experience
• Skills/Knowledge
• Required: Understanding of GAAP and General Accounting; excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, and related accounting software; financial reporting knowledge; internal and external audit requirements knowledge
• Desired: Understanding of Oracle Fusion
