Description We are hiring a Staff Accountant to join a growing team with a prominent organization in the Mechanicsburg, PA area. In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including general ledger responsibilities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Responsibilities: + Manage day-to-day transactions including expenses, payroll, and other ledger entries. + Monitor financial transactions and reports. + Process accounts receivable and payable, manage invoices and tax payments. + Record payroll data into accounting software. + Report irregularities in data to the management. + Assist in preparing budgeting reports and financial statements. + Maintain and record business transactions, balancing ledgers. + Assist in internal and external auditing procedures. + Maintain confidentiality of all financial data. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. + Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role. + Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software. + Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles. + Strong mathematical and analytical skills. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Professional certification such as a CPA is a plus.
