Staff Accountant

We are looking for an accountant with a background in public accounting, ideally with 3-5 years experience in auditing and tax preparation.

Staff Accountant Details:

Direct Hire position$60,000.00 to $80,000.00 /annuallyFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Preparing financial statements from client informationReconciling and tying out accountsPreparing clients trial balance for year-end tax and accounting workWorking with clients to gather tax information, creating tax documentation, and preparing tax returns for businesses and individuals.Management of multiple client accountsKeep track of deadlines and deliverable for multiple clientsPayroll knowledgeSales Tax ReturnsRegular communication with clientsAnswer client questions and provide advice

Staff Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree3-4 years of experience in tax preparation and accountingExperience with Microsoft Office & Thomson Reuter Software Products (Preferred)Communicates financial information clearlyDemonstrates organizational, problem-solving, project management and time-management skillsBuilds strong relationships with clients and colleaguesInput & generate monthly financial statements for business client
