ResponsibilitiesOwnership of the audit of final package costsTimely and accurate closing within 21 days of mail date and 72 hours for non-escrow clientsGain understanding of postage process and calculationsBuild strong long-lasting relationships internally with production & accounting teamsDrive external partnerships with vendor accounting teams to streamline timeliness of invoicingDevelop expertise in internal software programsDevelop and maintain additional controls around audit processCollaborate with various department leads to verify and obtain approval for vendor invoice chargesEnter the invoice details in IntactAssess outstanding payables weekly and prepare a payment list for review and approvalMaintain proper support of customer receipts and invoices and documentation of internal processesSupport other projects and functions of the accounting department, as neededEnter internal checks for deposit into Sage IntaactRequired SkillsBachelor's Degree in AccountingAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/Pivots)Understanding of debits/credits, accounts payable, some audit experienceHigh attention to detailGeneral ledger, Journal entry, Balance sheet, Month endAdditional Skills & QualificationsWell-developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsSage Intact experience a plus but not requiredStrong social skills, including ability to interact with employees, customers, and vendorsDetail oriented and hands-on with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
