Job Description
This position is open due to a vacancy in the Accounting department. The Staff Accountant will be primarily responsible for assisting in the accounting and reporting on the Company’s overall financial activity. This role requires a professional with experience in accounting policies, general ledger maintenance, and control environments.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in the accounting and reporting on the Company’s overall financial activity.Maintain and manage the general ledger.Perform account reconciliations and month-end close procedures.Prepare and review journal entries and accruals.Analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.1+ years of general accounting experience.Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues.Strong analytical, written, and communication skills.Ability to multi-task and solve problems in both standardized and non-standardized situations.Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsPublic accounting experience preferred.Experience with JD Edwards One World and MS Dynamics is a plus.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial reports, legal documents, or governmental regulations.Work Environment
This is a hybrid position, requiring attendance in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00
