Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Mercer Island, Washington, United States. As a Staff Accountant, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, from processing customer applications to maintaining accurate customer records and resolving customer inquiries. You'll also oversee customer accounts and take necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Effectively manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and provide support for Accounts Payable (AP) • Progress into handling bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger • Assist in the management of financial matters for multiple properties • Ensure timely execution of tasks and meet set deadlines • Utilize software tools such as Sage 50, Microsoft Suite, and QuickBooks for various accounting-related tasks • Communicate effectively within the team and with customers • Handle month-end close procedures and prepare journal entries • Develop expertise in applications like Excel for Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs • Contribute to the team efforts during busy closing periods. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations and management • Strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR) processing and tracking • Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations • Solid understanding of General Ledger management and reporting • Expertise in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries • Ability to effectively manage Month End Close processes • Proficiency in QuickBooks software for accounting tasks • Experience with Sage 50 accounting software is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
