Description We are seeking an organized and driven Staff Accountant to join a rapidly growing team in Fayetteville, PA. This entry level Staff Accountant position will work closely with a team of accountants and operations personnel and collaborate with various department heads on several diverse projects. Excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and a keen eye for detail are essential for this role. Responsibilities: + Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. + Analyze and maintain subsidiary ledgers. + Assist with the preparation of financial reports. + Assist with tax returns or corporate reporting requirements. + Help with bank reconciliations, balancing department budgets, invoicing clients, ensuring prompt payment, and maintaining ledgers. + Assist with end of month tasks and supporting the senior accountants in carrying out responsibilities of the accounting department. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field. + Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. + Proficiency in relevant accounting software, preferably QuickBooks. + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly in Excel. + Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. + Good verbal and written communication skills. + Self-motivated with the ability to multitask effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
