Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join a prominent organization in the York area. The Staff Accountant responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and close processes, conducting internal audits, and maintaining accounts payable documentation. Responsibilities: + Manage day-to-day transactions including expenses, payroll, and other ledger entries. + Process accounts receivable and payable, manage invoices and tax payments. + Record payroll data into accounting software. + Report irregularities in data to the management. + Maintain and document all financial transactions in compliance with company guidelines. + Coordinate with the tax department for tax planning and compliance. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. + Proven experiences as a staff accountant, preferably in a corporate setting. + Mastery of Microsoft Office software – especially Excel. + Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to work independently. + Knowledge of financial software systems is a plus.
