Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Hanover, Maryland. In this role, you will be primarily dealing with accounts payable, cash reconciliations, and various financial tasks within the industry. Responsibilities: • Processing payments and ensuring accuracy of invoices • Conducting bank and cash reconciliations • Entering invoice details accurately and promptly • Handling Accounts Payable (AP) tasks and ensuring smooth operations • Generating reports using Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level • Reviewing mail and other communications related to accounts payable • Ensuring all checks are processed and cut as per the requirements • Assisting with cash-related tasks and responsibilities as needed Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting field • Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Experience with Cash Reconciliations • Proficient in performing various types of Reconciliations • Capability to Enter Invoices accurately • Experience in Processing Payments • Familiarity with W-9 Forms • Proficiency in using accounting software • Experience with Check Processing • Experience in handling Travel Expense accounts • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
