Description We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. Based in PORT HURON, Michigan, this role provides an opportunity to work in the manufacturing industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will have a variety of responsibilities including managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, overseeing tasks, and utilizing your skills in Microsoft Excel and QAD. This job offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the entire Accounts Payable process • Handle all aspects of Accounts Receivable • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records • Ensure proper invoicing and pricing procedures are followed • Process credits efficiently and accurately • Supervise accounting tasks and projects • Maintain accurate entries in the General Ledger • Utilize QAD and Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks • Perform additional duties as assigned by the management. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes • Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Skilled in managing and maintaining the General Ledger • Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately and timely • Experience with QAD or similar accounting software is a must • Proven experience in Supervising staff and coordinating accounting tasks • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including use of advanced formulas and functions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
