Description We are offering an employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in West Palm Beach, Florida. You will be joining our team to maintain accurate financial records, perform general ledger entries, and manage accounts payable/receivable. Your role will also involve assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed. Responsibilities: • Maintain and manage financial records meticulously. • Carry out general ledger entries with precision. • Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently. • Assist in preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports. • Reconcile multiple client accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved. • Process client payroll in a timely and accurate manner. • Prepare sales tax returns and provide necessary financial data to CPAs. • Leverage your previous CPA experience to enhance your performance. • Use software tools such as QuickBooks (online and Desktop) and Oracle effectively. Requirements • Candidate must possess at least 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is a necessity. • Familiarity with the General Ledger is essential. • Capability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries is required. • Experience with Month End Close processes is a must. • Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite is necessary. • Proficiency in Oracle is a prerequisite for this role. • QuickBooks experience is highly desirable. • SAP skills and experience are also essential for this role.
