Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant at our Ramsey, New Jersey location. As a Staff Accountant, you will be performing a variety of accounting tasks including account reconciliations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and working with different accounting software. Responsibilities: • Overseeing accounts payable (AP) and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded • Handling accounts receivable (AR) and ensuring all payments are received and correctly accounted for • Conducting regular bank and account reconciliations to verify transaction details • Utilizing accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite, and SAP for financial management • Preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger • Assisting with month-end close procedures • Familiarizing with SAP Financials for maintaining financial records and transactions. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of accounting. • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. • Capable of handling Bank Reconciliations effectively. • Demonstrated expertise in maintaining the General Ledger. • Experience in recording Journal Entries accurately and promptly. • Skilled in managing Month End Close processes. • Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting purposes. • Previous experience with Oracle software is a plus. • Familiarity with QuickBooks for managing financial records. • Knowledge of SAP software for accounting and financial management. • Experience with SAP Financials will be viewed favorably.
