Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team located in Keene, California. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the industry. The Staff Accountant will be tasked with handling a variety of responsibilities, including managing and reconciling accounts, auditing financial documents, and preparing reports. Responsibilities: • Analyze and compile financial data to make entries into general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in all transactions • Take charge of project management, construction, and job cost accounting • Prepare detailed reports summarizing the company's financial status, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements, and interpret these reports for other managers • Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers to verify individual transactions • Implement and modify accounting systems and control procedures as necessary, documenting all changes • Gather necessary data to prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns • Use Excel and other relevant software for financial tasks and accounting management • Maintain the general ledger, performing regular audits and reconciliations as needed Requirements • Proficiency in General Ledger management • Experience in Audit - Financial • Strong skills in Account Management • Expertise in Account Reconciliation • Knowledge in Cost - Job • Proficiency in Excel Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
