Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to become a part of our team. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in managing financial activities and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. The role involves working in both an office and remote work environment, providing flexibility. The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Controller, playing a key role in our financial reporting processes. Responsibilities: • Conducting daily posting and general ledger activities • Managing cash receipts and undertaking bank reconciliations • Overseeing and maintaining accounts payable and payroll • Handling transactions related to benefits and 401(k) remittances • Assisting with the preparation of FP& A templates • Conducting monthly country P& L variance analysis • Participating in other ad hoc activities as required • Working with a variety of financial software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP • Ensuring prepaid expenses are accurately accounted for • Managing accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations • Demonstrated knowledge of General Ledger management • Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries • Experience in Month End Close procedures • Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software • Proficiency in using Oracle for accounting tasks • Experience with QuickBooks software • Knowledge of SAP for accounting and financial management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
