Description We are currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the construction or manufacturing industry and is proficient in General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You should possess a strong knowledge in areas such as accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL) management, journal entries (JE), management and reconciliations. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our accounting team. Responsibilities: + Ensure accuracy in general ledgers and assist with reconciliations. + Prepare and enter journal entries (JE). + Handle AP and AR functions. + Assist with month-end close procedures. Minimum Qualifications: + A degree in Accounting or Finance. + Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry. + Proficiency in GAAP.
