**Summary**
The Staff Accountant is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reporting.
This position will support our Accounting team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Assist with preparation of periodic reporting, internal and external.
+ Assist in preparation of balance sheet commentary.
+ Support completion of audit requests and internal data requests within the accounting and financial reporting departments.
+ Assist preparation of weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting reporting.
+ Perform monthly and quarterly journal entries and reconciliation for Intercompany, communication with other subsidiaries.
+ Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
+ Must have the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization and with cross-functional teams.
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or business administration from a four-year accredited college or universoty is required.
+ CPA preferred.
+ Minimum three (3) years of progressive work experience.
+ SAP and Hyperion experience preferred.
+ Experienced in General Ledger accounting.
+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service focus.
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate accounting and financial information to others.
+ Strong Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills with ability to perform pivot tables, vlookup, and other Excel formulas without assistance to analyze data quickly.
+ Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and detail oriented.
