Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is part of the accounting industry and is located in a dynamic workplace. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks, such as managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, conducting Bank Reconciliations, and maintaining the General Ledger. Responsibilities: • Accurately process financial transactions as part of the Accounts Payable tasks. • Ensure all received funds are correctly accounted for as part of the Accounts Receivable functions. • Compare and resolve any discrepancies between internal financial records and bank statements as part of Bank Reconciliations. • Keep the General Ledger updated with all financial transactions. • Log all financial activities into our system as part of preparing Journal Entries. • Verify all financial data for the month is accurate and complete as part of Month End Close procedures. • Use NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various financial operations. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately • Solid understanding of General Ledger management • Proven experience with Journal Entries • Must be able to manage Month End Close tasks efficiently • Experience with financial software like NetSuite, Oracle, and QuickBooks is required • Familiarity with SAP is a plus • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and organizational skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
