Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Description

The Staff Accountant professional will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role involves tasks such as bookkeeping, general ledger upkeep, bank statement reconciliation, and generating reports for management, all while adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

ResponsibilitiesMaintain financial records and prepare financial reports.Reconcile accounts and manage accounts payable and receivable.Ensure compliance with accounting standards by performing tasks like bookkeeping and general ledger upkeep.Reconcile bank statements and generate reports for management.Adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Essential SkillsProficiency in general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.Experience in month-end closing processes.Strong reporting and financial statement preparation skills.Knowledge of audit procedures.Experience with journal entries, accounts payable, balance sheets, and accounts receivable.Understanding of fixed asset management and payroll processes.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).MBA or CPA is a plus.Knowledge of automotive metal stamping and die manufacturing is desirable.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $60000.00
