Description We are offering a contract Staff Accountant role in Kings Park, New York. This role is instrumental in managing and executing the financial processes, including bank recs, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable • Managing journal entries and general ledger activities • Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Executing accrual accounting and managing accruals • Handling month end close procedures Requirements • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Mastery of General Ledger operations • Knowledge of Journal Entries preparation • Expertise in Month End Close procedures • Competence in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation • Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles • Ability to Analyze Variance in accounting records Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
