Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the industry for a Staff Accountant based in Liberty, South Carolina. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in various financial operations, such as billing, account reconciliation, and general ledger management. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a system implementation process. Responsibilities: • Manage and accurately process customer billing on a weekly basis. • Take charge of bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are correct. • Maintain the General Ledger (G/L) with precision and timeliness. • Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) operations as required. • Contribute to the system implementation project when it commences. • Use Sage Accounting Software for various accounting tasks. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data. • Willingness to take on diverse tasks and assist the team as needed. • Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous but is not obligatory. Requirements • Minimum of two years experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role • Proficient in Billing processes and procedures • Experience with Sage Accounting Software is required • Demonstrated skills in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Proven experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Thorough knowledge of General Ledger management • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
