Description We are offering a contract to hire position for a Staff Accountant position in the non-profit sector, located in Springfield, Ohio. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of accounting duties, including managing month end/ year end activities, journal entries in general ledger, bank reconciliations and fixed asset management. For immediate consideration, please apply online first, then contact Chris Braun at (937-331-6360 Responsibilities: • Accurately process daily journal entries • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy • Manage and maintain fixed assets • Ensure a solid understanding and application of general accounting principles • Validate the general ledger, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date • Handle debit and credit transactions • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and accounts payable management.
