Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team operating in the nonprofit sports industry, located in Melbourne, Florida. As a Staff Accountant, your role will primarily involve handling various accounting duties such as bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and other relevant tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Accurately perform bank reconciliations • Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) efficiently • Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate • Prepare and record journal entries as required • Carry out month end close duties in a timely and efficient manner • Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations • Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations • Thorough understanding of General Ledger management • Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries • Experience in executing Month End Close processes • Proficiency in using NetSuite financial software • Familiarity with Oracle financial management systems • Skilled in using QuickBooks accounting software • Knowledge of SAP financial software and its applications.
