Description We are offering a contract for a Staff Accountant position in Dayton, New Jersey. This role is crucial within our team, with responsibilities that include analyzing financial information, maintaining records, and supporting the CFO. As part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to develop relationships with managers and contribute to our financial performance. Responsibilities: • Analyze financial data to produce monthly reports that summarize departmental financial performance. • Assist in the development and periodic updates of departmental budgets for the coming year. • Maintain and update payroll and freelance cost details on a monthly basis. • Use tools like Excel to streamline and enhance monthly reporting processes. • Support the CFO and build relationships with work center managers to provide financial support and guidance. • Prepare reports on sales and working capital on a weekly basis for management review. • Utilize skills in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Month End Close to manage customer accounts and take necessary actions. Requirements • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required for the Staff Accountant role. • Ability to handle, manage, and maintain the General Ledger. • Experience with Journal Entries is essential. • Knowledge and expertise in Month End Close processes are necessary.
