Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Newport Beach, California. This role is firmly rooted in the finance and accounting industry where you will be tasked with understanding and working with debits/credits, assets/liabilities, and income. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process and manage bank reconciliations for up to seven accounts. • Leverage your intermediate knowledge of Excel to create pivot tables and utilize VLOOKUPs. • Maintain a strong understanding of the general ledger, making necessary journal entries. • Manage the month end close process accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintain clear and strong communication skills to effectively handle tight deadlines. • Onboard with initial training onsite, with a requirement for two days onsite thereafter, specifically on Thursdays.
