About the Role: As a Staff Accountant at MMT, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions: Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process. Ensure transactions are correctly recorded in ledgers, including the general ledger, A/P subledger, and A/R subledger. Process expense reports with precision and timeliness. Perform month-end close procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare and distribute financial statements and reports using advanced financial systems. Manage accounts receivable/payable and oversee collections and payables as needed. Conduct general accounting reconciliations and support audits by providing documentation and explanations. Perform other duties as directed to support the team and company objectives. What We’re Looking For: Qualifications: Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience with accounting systems and the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
