The ideal candidate possesses a positive attitude, is self-motivated, and eager to learn new things while having an impact across a broad scope of areas at the Company.  Further, the ideal candidate will have a focus on optimizing processes to be more scalable and efficient in preparation for future growth and globalization of the Company. What You Will ContributePrepares recurring journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting analysis applicable to the group Learns and maintains standard practices of the department Develops and maintains process documentation Integrate with other functions to the extent needed to optimize key process and ensure scalable growthHas a customer service mindset when working with other groups Intellectually curious and drive to understand the “why” behind each process and procedures Ability to think outside the box and develop new processes and process improvements A relentless approach to learning with the ability to make connections among previously unrelated notions and come up with a lot of new and unique ideas Ability to develop a strong understanding of the holistic Avidity business and processes to help build and prepare for long-term success Typically works autonomously with little instruction on day-to-day work Self-starter with strong internal drive Builds cross functional relationships Works autonomously on routine work, and receives coaching on new projectsWhat We Seek2+ Years of experience in either an Auditing role or Corporate AccountingBasic knowledge of US GAAP Basic Excel/MS Office & ERP skillsBasic workpaper and documentation skills Good organizational skillsPreferred BackgroundBig 4 or other Large National Audit Firm experienceCorporate Accounting experience Experience with D365 or other large ERP systems Licensed CPA or in progress with the CPA ExamWhat We Will Provide to You The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors.Avidity offers competitive compensation and benefits which includes the opportunity for annual and spot bonuses, stock options and RSUs, as well as a 401(k) with an employer match.
