Description Do you have experience as a Staff Accountant and are meticulous and innovative? We have a current opening for a Staff Accountant for a specialized company in need of temporary coverage. The right Staff Accountant will be over: + Assist with the period-end close process by reviewing and completing assigned period-end functions while also performing reconciliations and maintaining documentation related to balance sheet accounts. + Perform period over period and year over year variance analysis for expense accounts. + Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic/quarterly basis. + Prepare period end journal entries. + Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. + Prepare reports for external departments + Perform other work-related job duties as required Requirements + Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus + Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline required + Minimum 2 years of experience working in investment/hedge fund accounting or auditing is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
