Description Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant for a contract role based in Sarasota, Florida. The position is hybrid with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote after being fully trained. As a Staff Accountant, you'll be tasked with managing a variety of financial tasks, including bank account reconciliation, cash reporting, and supporting the accounting team. Responsibilities: • Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring all financial data is accurate. • Assisting with cash reporting and maintaining records of corporate expenses. • Providing support to the accounting team as needed. • Processing accounts payable and managing related activities. • Utilizing financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and QuickBooks to carry out tasks. • Complying with SEC regulations and preparing SEC reports. • Managing treasury operations and performing treasury activities. • Handling general ledger duties and preparing journal entries. • Assisting with month-end close procedures. • Leveraging Excel for tasks such as debt scheduling and formula application. • Handling Accounts Receivable tasks and ensuring all financial data is accurate. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations • Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks • Experience with Bank Reconciliations • Knowledge of General Ledger procedures • Ability to handle Journal Entries • Familiarity with Month End Close processes • Proficiency in using NetSuite software • Experience with Oracle software • Competency in QuickBooks software • Knowledge of SAP system • Familiarity with SEC Reporting requirements • Understanding of SEC Regulations • Experience with Treasury Activities • Knowledge of Treasury procedures • Proficiency in Treasury Operation tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
