Description Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant for our client located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role involves multiple functions within the financial industry, focusing on areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger management. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions • Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of records • Effectively manage the General Ledger, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and accurate • Prepare and post Journal Entries as part of the month-end close process • Utilize software applications such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for financial management and reporting • Carry out the Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is captured and reported accurately Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) • Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with General Ledger operations • Experience in making Journal Entries • Capable of handling Month End Close activities • Proficiency in using NetSuite software • Experience with Oracle accounting software • Knowledge of QuickBooks software • Familiarity with SAP accounting software Robert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
