Description Robert Half Contract Finance and Accounting Division is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temporary to hire position with a growing company in Reno, NV. This role exists within a corporate financial setting and interested candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately and timely, in accordance with company procedures and GAAP. You will also have the responsibility of interacting with a variety of other employees, customers, and vendors of the company. Responsibilities: • Record transactions such as expenses and revenues with accuracy and timeliness • Manage the process of payments to utilities and vendors for services and supplies • Issue invoices to customers for services provided • Carry out the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and perform detailed account analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts • Create journal entries as needed to book accruals and other non-cash transactions • Handle the process and recording of incoming payments and deposits • Review AR and AP Aging reports If interested, please apply today and for immediate consideration call Keisha White at 775-313-0454 Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in the field of accounting. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is a must. • Proficiency in managing General Ledger is expected. • Ability to handle Journal Entries accurately is required. • Experience with Month End Close activities is necessary. • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
