Description We are in need of a Staff Accountant in the Manufacturing industry, located in BOCA RATON, Florida, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will primarily work with credit applications and customer service. This role is hybrid going into the office 2 full days per week. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Work closely with customers and sales support teams • Ensure accurate maintenance of customer credit records • Release credit restrictions as and when required • Assist in the allocation of customer orders • Collaborate with the CFO to ensure processes are adhered to • Utilize software tools such as Solomon and Footworks for various tasks • Maintain the General Ledger and perform Bank Reconciliations • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Perform Month End Close activities and prepare Journal Entries • Use different accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Great Plains Solomon. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field • Demonstrated experience as a Staff Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing industry • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger maintenance • Ability to prepare and post Journal Entries accurately • Experience with Month End Close procedures and routines • Proficient in using NetSuite and Oracle software for accounting tasks • Experience with QuickBooks and SAP software is highly desirable • Knowledge of Great Plains Solomon software will be a plus • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
