Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant at our location in Round Rock, Texas. This position is within the Wholesale Distribution industry, primarily in an office setting. Responsibilities • Efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain and update customer credit records • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Ensure smooth operation of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Perform reconciliations and bank reconciliations on a regular basis • Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis • Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for accounting functions and operations • Manage inventory side of the business • Handle bookkeeping tasks and oversee office operations in the manager's absence • Collaborate with the accounting firm for audits and financial reviews. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures. • Proven experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. • Must be proficient in performing Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks software for accounting tasks. • Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise for advanced financial operations. • Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
