Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility and contribute to key financial operations in a collaborative environment. Job Responsibilities: + Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. + Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. + Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor accounts. + Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring the timely preparation of financial statements. + Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing insights and variance analysis. + Collaborate with senior accountants to prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with tax laws. + Support audit preparation and ensure the necessary documentation is available for external audits. + Monitor and track financial transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies. + Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. + Perform other accounting duties and special projects as assigned. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. + Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Experience in working with cross-functional teams and providing financial insights.
