Description We are on the hunt for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's team, based in BALTIMORE, Maryland. As a Staff Accountant, you'll be an integral part of their growing finance team, with the responsibility of ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. You'll also assist in the preparation and processing of journal entries, and aid in the adherence of internal controls. Responsibilities: • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, by preparing and processing journal entries. • Take part in the month-end and year-end close processes. • Assist in maintaining the Accounts Payable function. • Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. • Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations. • Respond promptly to information requests and assist with audits. • Carry out expense analyses and accruals to ensure accuracy.
