Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be instrumental in handling staff accounting duties, working closely with the controller, and assisting with inventory, reconciliations, and margins. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Assist with inventory management and maintain accurate records
• Contribute to the reconciliation of bank statements
• Handle journal entries and ensure their accuracy
• Collaborate closely with the controller on various tasks
• Maintain and manage the General Ledger
• Participate in the month-end close process
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in daily tasks. Requirements
• Applicant must possess knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must
• Prior experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is required
• Familiarity with General Ledger tasks is essential
• Applicant must be able to manage Journal Entries efficiently
• Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary
