Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Woodbridge, Virginia. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks such as processing journal entries, account reconciliation, statement analysis, and report generation. This position will also require you to work with Sage Intacct and will be beneficial if you have experience in a non-profit setting. Responsibilities • Accurately process journal entries as part of account management • Perform reconciliations on various accounts to ensure accuracy • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and resolve any issues • Generate comprehensive reports as required • Utilize Sage Intacct for various accounting functions • Work within a nonprofit setting, adhering to industry-specific financial procedures • Manage both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Perform month-end close procedures • Familiarity with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and NetSuite is beneficial.
