Description We are in the search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. This role is central to our operations, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and other accounting functions. We offer a short term contract employment opportunity, where you will be reviewing and processing invoices, ensuring their accuracy, and validating vendors, among other responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Oversee Accounts Payable transactions and ensure they are processed efficiently • Review invoices thoroughly for accuracy and completeness • Validate vendors and their invoices to maintain the integrity of our accounts • Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and update financial transactions • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy • Keep up-to-date and accurate records in the General Ledger • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process • Familiarize and work with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks as required Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Capable of performing Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently • Experience with General Ledger management and reconciliation • Skilled in creating and managing Journal Entries • Ability to handle Month End Close procedures effectively • Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks • Familiarity with Oracle accounting software and its functionalities • Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting and financial tasks • Proficiency in SAP, particularly in its financial and accounting modules Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
