Description Are you an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant looking for a new opportunity to grow your career? Our client is seeking an accounting professional to assist with critical financial operations, including full-cycle accounting, month-end close entries, and month-end reconciliations. This is a contract-to-hire position that provides an excellent chance to work closely with the CFO and Controller while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: + Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. + Prepare and post month-end close journal entries accurately and in compliance with deadlines. + Reconcile financial accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues during month-end close processes. + Assist the CFO and Controller with financial reporting, budgeting, and special projects as assigned. + Support the preparation of internal and external financial statements with a focus on accuracy and compliance. + Contribute to maintaining and improving accounting processes, workflows, and controls. Requirements + Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting. + Knowledge and experience with month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or comparable systems). + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) preferred. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with an experienced leadership team, including the CFO and Controller. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
