Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks such as managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preparing financial reports, and working collaboratively with auditors. Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable • Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Collaborate with auditors to ensure accurate and timely audit • Handle deposits and manage financials including accruals • Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports • Conduct monthly reconciliations and close out the month-end financials • Utilize various software tools such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks • Maintain a strong understanding of journal entries and general ledger management • Adhere to all financial deadlines and ensure timely reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role. • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is necessary. • Familiarity with General Ledger management. • Ability to handle Journal Entries effectively. • Experience in conducting Month End Close procedures. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
