Description An amazing company near the San Luis Rey area is seeking a meticulous and experienced Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. The Staff Accountant will have a key role in overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, and supporting the month-end close process. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and post journal entries for general ledger accounts. + Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other key accounts. + Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. + Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes as needed. + Support year-end closing and provide documentation for audits. + Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and efficiencies. Requirements + 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Staff Accountant role. + Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills. + Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting. + Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
