Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our $300MM Marketing/Advertising Agency. As a Staff Accountant, your primary role will be maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end close. You'll also be tasked with client billing and managing fixed assets. This role guarantees growth opportunity and FULL BENEFITS. Responsibilities: • Assisting in the maintenance of the general ledger and ensuring its accuracy • Handling client billing with precision and timeliness • Reconciling accounts on a regular basis • Assisting with the month-end close process • Managing fixed assets and ensuring proper accounting of these assets • Performing bank reconciliations and ledger account reconciliations • Handling journal entries and accounts payable and receivable • Managing fixed asset additions and fixed asset depreciation • Using Excel for basic accounting tasks and data management.
