Job Description

  

Responsibilities 

The staff accountant will work closely with senior staff accountants, Site Controller, Treasury and the Executive Finance team to support different aspects of the financial reporting cycleComplete month-end close procedures; journal entry calculation and processing, general ledger account analysis, monthly accrual calculation and review.Prepare general ledger account reconciliationsResearch and analyze transactions for proper accounting treatment and codingPrepare support schedules for external auditor requestsSupport and conduct Internal Control audit tasksSupport ad-hoc accounting projects

Requirements 

3-5 years of professional experience in a corporate manufacturing accounting settingExperience with performing accounting duties for a large, multi-site, international public company a plusAbility to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressuresExceptional attention to detailExceptional analytical and communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office tools including power pointAdvanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, macros, etc.)Experience with SAP a plusPublic company experience a plusExcellent organizational and interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and establish prioritiesYou must also enjoy working in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment where accuracy is key

Education 

Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or equivalent experience CPA a plusApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce

Salary Range:

$77,000.00-$102,600.000
