Staff Accountant
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the industry, located in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing various accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger maintenance. Your role will also involve handling software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite. Responsibilities: • Oversee the Accounts Payable(AP) function, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded • Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) process, monitoring the inflow of cash and ensuring all payments are accounted for • Conduct regular Bank Reconciliations, verifying the company's records with bank statements to ensure accuracy • Maintain the General Ledger, recording all business transactions and ensuring they are classified correctly • Record Journal Entries, documenting the financial activities of the company • Manage the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurate • Operate and manage accounting software including QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite • Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for specific accounting tasks and processes • Oversee the purchasing process, ensuring all purchases are correctly recorded and accounted for. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations • Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Familiarity with General Ledger management • Proficient in preparing and making Journal Entries • Knowledge and experience in Month End Close procedures • Proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting tasks • Experience with Oracle accounting software • Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial records • Familiarity with SAP software for business process management • Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise for advanced accounting tasks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
