Description Rachel Miller is partnering with a company in Kingston, NY on a Staff Accountant Role. The Staff Accountant will be part of our team and will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including processing purchase orders, managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and providing clerical support to the CFO and Finance Team. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process purchase orders as part of the purchasing agent role • Manage accounts payable and execute check runs • Oversee the review and processing of monthly invoices • Handle accounts receivable and deposits • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records • Provide clerical support to the CFO and Finance Team, assisting in various tasks as needed • Assist in the preparation of the general ledger and journal entries • Participate in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reports • Utilize various software platforms, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and FUND E-Z, to perform accounting tasks • Work independently while also collaborating with the team as needed. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Demonstrate ability to perform Bank Reconciliations • Have a working knowledge of General Ledger • Capable of managing and creating Journal Entries • Experience with Month End Close operations • Proficient in NetSuite software • Familiarity with Oracle software • Must have experience with QuickBooks • Knowledge of SAP software is required • Familiarity with FUND E-Z software would be an advantage Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
