Description We are on the lookout for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As a Staff Accountant, you will be entrusted with complex account reconciliations, preparation and posting of journal entries, and maintaining organized documentation. Moreover, your role will involve close collaboration with other departments to address accounting issues and the implementation of process improvements for reconciliation procedures. Responsibilities: • Conducting comprehensive balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations • Ensuring accurate documentation and maintenance of all reconciliation procedures • Assisting in the preparation and posting of journal entries with necessary supporting documentation • Analyzing the general ledger accounts for accuracy and reliability • Cooperating with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues • Maintaining systematic documentation for all reconciliations and analyses • Implementing process enhancements for reconciliation procedures • Identifying discrepancies in reconciliations and taking necessary steps for resolution • Undertaking any other duties as assigned Requirements • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations, with a proven track record in handling and managing banking transactions • Extensive knowledge and experience in General Ledger management, including maintaining, reviewing, and rectifying entries • Expertise in creating, maintaining, and reviewing Journal Entries, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded • Solid experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, demonstrating the ability to reconcile large sets of data accurately • Proficiency in using Aderant, with a focus on leveraging the software for efficient financial management and reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
