Staff Accountant
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our finance team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, overseeing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and billing. Additionally, this role will involve overseeing aspects of purchasing, IT, and HR as needed. Key Responsibilities: + Month-End Close: Manage and execute the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. + Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee the AP process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation. + Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage the AR process, including customer invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations. + Payroll: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. + Billing: Manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of customer invoices. + Purchasing: Assist with purchasing activities, including vendor management and procurement processes. + IT: Collaborate with the IT department to ensure financial systems and software are functioning effectively. + HR: Support HR functions as needed, including payroll-related HR tasks and employee benefits administration. Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + CPA or CMA certification preferred. + Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. + Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
