Staff Accountant
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a diligent Staff Accountant in Miramar, Florida, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to financial reporting, reconciliation, and sales analysis. You will also be responsible for managing incentive and commission programs, as well as processing payments. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Manage and maintain precise records of customer credit • Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of General Ledger Accounts • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and analysis • Compile and distribute financial statements and other financial reports • Analyze monthly General Ledger expenses and identify fluctuations • Prepare and review reconciliations of gross profit general ledger postings • Monitor and track all incentive program payments/submissions to avoid duplication • Manage the processing of incentives for payout and submission to payroll • Handle the analysis and tracking of all incentive and sales commission programs • Prepare monthly reports for distribution and perform ad hoc financial reporting as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Sales and Payment Processing • Ability to handle Reporting tasks and Expense Reporting • Expertise in using Microsoft Excel • Experience in providing Training to team members • Familiarity with Payroll processes and Budget Processes • Capability to manage Cash Activity and perform Bank Deposit tasks • Skilled in performing Review and Reconciliations • Ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks • Knowledge of General Ledger and Financial Statement preparation • Proficiency in Financial Reporting and Journal Entries • Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations • Ability to liaise with Suppliers effectively • Knowledge of Video software for communication • Experience in Closing financial periods • Proficiency in using SAP R/3 software • Familiarity with Submission processes and Commision Functions • Ability to work Onsite as needed.
